May I ask you to add following websites of english and italian media?

guardahd
guardoserie
guardaserie
guardaflix
loonex
toonitalia.green
toonitalia.xyz
lookmovie
raiplay
archive.org
and maxstream and turbovid as eurostreaming (already existing) important content hosters.

If possibile, without mediaflow proxy would be the best.

sorry man, but this is an unrealistic Wishlist. IMO, Italian content is one of the best working ones atm. we can think about adding another source, but everything that is added needs to be really bringing value and looked at carefully. more is not better per se.
also: there is a dedicated Italian add-on which has some parts implemented already

and: I'll most likely create some kind of template here. every addition request needs to have really strong arguments why it should be added. also URLs and examples. you cannot expect me to do research for all of this I suppose?

Fair point, my first message does look like an unrealistic wishlist.
But my intent was different: most of the italian domains I listed (e.g. guardahd, guardoserie, guardaserie, guardaflix, loonex, toonitalia.*) were mentioned because they’re already handled by that dedicated italian add-on you referenced (and where I hoped to draw your attention). The reason is that add-on is too much like a rolling-release solution: it changes frequently, requires too much maintenance for the average day-to-day user, and ends up being quite redundant (since it overlaps heavily with what WebStreamr already supports). In short, my ask isn’t “add 10 sources”, it’s “consolidate what already works in that add-on into WebStreamr” so the Italian side becomes more complete and easier to use.

Related question (I’m not sure, so I’m asking): are guardahd, guardoserie, and guardaserie effectively the same network/mirrors, possibly pointing to the same entry point you already support (MostraGuarda)? If yes, that would reinforce the “reduce redundancy instead of adding more” approach.

About the other sites I mentioned (RaiPlay, Archive, Lookmovie): I’d be happy to drop them for now if the consolidation above is considered, because that’s the most valuable part for me. Still, for context:

RaiPlay is the main italian public broadcaster platform and it hosts a lot of content for free, but I understand it may be out of scope due to geo limitations (even for italian users in Italy).
Archive.org is international and includes a huge amount of older and niche material, with generally stable urls.
Lookmovie is one of the most well-known english-language streaming sites and has a broad catalog, including titles that many “new-only” sites often don’t have.

I’m sorry if my initial post came across as ungrateful or as expecting you to do all the research, that wasn’t my intention. Whatever you decide, thank you again for the work you put into this project 🙌🏻🚀

I unfortunately don't know anything about those Italian resources, the thing is only if the other add-on changes so often there, I wonder if the resources also do :D

for the first couple of hosters - what you can do is look them up in the source code of the other add-on and link implementations here. then I can think about adding or switching. I know the other dev is also looking into captcha solving and text recognition and such, but those are roadblocks for me and not worth the effort tbh.
